My connection with the pool came very early, starting at just 6 months old bonding with Grandma in a local 'Y' water discovery program.  It took off from there and I never looked back!  I started year-round competitive club swimming at the age of 9 and have been with Kingfish Aquatics of Waterford (KAW) for 4 years.

Although I have explored other sports, my passion truly lies with swimming.  It's a big part of my personal journey...  I enjoy the process of goal-setting, training and pushing myself to compete at the highest level.  Out of the pool, I am learning the importance of hard work, dedication, perseverance, time management, leadership and a "can-do" positive attitude.  Above all, I cherish the relationships that have been built through swimming -- some of my best friends are also teammates!

Only a high school freshmen, I'm still in the early stages of development as a student-athlete.  There's still so much to learn as I continue to grow within my sport.  I'm very excited about this next phase on my swimming career!  Looking forward to see what the future has in store for me when I graduate in 2021!
