Emma Bissell '23 Recruiting Profile

Every team has a player who has made a life choice to succeed in the sport of their choice. I feel that I am that player. My goal is not simply to make the team, but to be a part of a team and make it better. I want to contribute to my college program on and off the pitch. My goal is to earn a starting position and be a leader for my program. My faith, my work ethic and my drive to make those around me better guide me in all I do. I have learned hard lessons as an athlete and seen much success. That is competition...that is life! Having watched my sister earn her way into college athletics gives me a perspective about the process and the expectations involved. I feel that I am better suited to transition from high school academics and soccer into the collegiate level than most of my peers.
