Hello my name is Lyndsey Gulbrandson and I am currently a sophomore at Westosha Central High School. Once I complete High School I would like to focus on the medical field, however my specialty is undecided. I want to pursue this type of degree because I like, and enjoy, helping people, whether it is in the Girl Scout program or in a work setting, I enjoy interacting and helping people.
An example of this is when I was 14, I sponsor a young boy who is in Kenya, I support this child with a monthly donation that I (not my parents) provide each month. However, to be able to do this I had to get a job and I did this because I made a commitment. I enjoy my interaction with him very much and hopefully will be able to travel and meet him in person.
I enjoy golf because I enjoy the outdoors and being able to spend time playing with team mates, but also family and friends. With the support of my coaches and parents, and my belief in myself, I will continue to grow and improve and become a well rounded athlete for a college team.
