Kate Benes '20 Recruiting Profile

   My name is Kate Benes and I am a sophomore at Lake Country Lutheran High School.  There is no measure as to how much heart I give. When I commit to something I am fully focused, enthusiastic, persistent, and present. I am a start, stick, and finish kind of girl. I bring joy, enthusiasm, hard work, and energy into the classroom and to my competitive field. I am an honor student and three sport athlete because of my love and drive to compete and succeed. As a freshman I played on varsity, was team MVP, and was voted first team all conference. I am the one on the court clapping, encouraging teammates, and celebrating our team victories. I am a team leader, and will help to improve everyone around me. Whatever I am doing I give 110% and I am committed to excellence  for myself and also for my teammates and peers. 

     I desire to play college basketball because I love the sport and it has always been a dream of mine.  I would love to make an impact on your program, and for your program to shape and mold me for my future- whatever it may bring. I look forward to a future filled with goals to accomplish, leadership opportunities, and genuine relationships with others that build up both myself and those around me.
