Growing up I always had wanted to be one of the girls on the court that I would see on tv. Ever since I have done camps and joined leagues, learning all there is to basketball. When I see someone who is ahead of me I strive to do better to be back in my spot. I have played every position and have been working on ball handling and my three point shots.
I have always struggled with school due to few learning disabilities. My minor set backs have never been used as an excuse, but rather a motivation to prove I can do things and do them better than what others said. I do struggle in some subjects but I always make sure to get stuff done. Knowing basketball is at stake I take my academics very serious weather I struggle or not. I am taking collage courses early to get ahead in welding.
My goals are to work past my struggle and prove to everyone who said I couldn’t that I can. I am very determined and strong willing. My coaches have always counted on me to step up even on my worst days to be a leader. My team is my family and I would do anything to help them on and off the court.
