My name is Sheriene Arikat and I want to play college basketball. I want to study either business or journalism because I enjoy writing and I want to own my own company someday. I am a good candidate for your team because I persevere through every obstacle and I always give 110%. I know there are thousands of girls out there that also want to play college basketball, but I'm different. I have been the assistant coach for both girls and boys seventh grade basketball teams and enjoyed every moment of it. I am also a soon to be martial arts instructor because I have a second degree black belt and have been doing the sport, consistently, since I was five years old. I am the oldest of four siblings and I have inspired them to also achieve their black belt.
