Lena McCoy '20 Recruiting Profile

    I love to compete whether I'm playing softball, Taekwondo, volleyball, or whatever it may be. One of my goals is to earn a black belt in Taekwondo. I am also involved in Jiu Jitsu. These are great assets to my development as a softball player because they help me stay disciplined. They also help me with strength, flexibility, and body control.  As a leader, I show the younger kids in Taekwondo how to execute their moves correctly. I also lead by example in showing them what kind of attitude to have, as well as the work ethic they need to be successful. 

    Academically I want to be as successful as possible. Maintaining an excellent GPA is one of my many academic goals. I am currently interested in obtaining a degree in kinesiology/exercise science.

    I enjoy being outside all the time.  Whether it be hunting, fishing, or riding my four-wheeler around, I always have a blast. I am involved in choir, and I love to sing.  After college, I want to continue to satisfy my competitive drive and pursue a career in Mixed-Martial Arts and/or coaching.
