My goal for college is to get a spot on a good college team, play a lot, and help my team out in any way possible so that we have a great time even if the season doesn't go that well. What makes me a good candidate is my tenacity on the court and the ability to play all the positions very well even though I usually play setter. In character, I don't mess around very much but I'm charismatic and make an effort to be the best out in the game for my teammates, family, coach, and myself. The aspect that makes me unique is that I always seek feedback from my friends and coach about how I play, such as "Hey, how was that set?" or "What should I change about that pass?" In athletics, I love to get the adrenaline pumping and in any sport I play take an analytical view on things to make it a better experience for myself and everyone else. There isn't much that makes me different except for the way that I am pretty humble about my athletic abilities, which aren't perfect to begin with. In academics, I would say it's safe to say I'm very focused on my education. I go to one of Virginia's governor's schools, Maggie Walker, a very prestigious institute that is ranked 10th in the nation. I spend many a weekend studying and working on academics and it pays off even if I have to miss a minor sports event. I do try to go to as many sports events as possible though. I currently have all A's.
