I am a 6'2 middle hitter/blocker at Oxford High School in Oxford, Connecticut. During my current semester, I have a 3.2 GPA and year overall GPA of 3.4. Playing volleyball, in college, is a goal which I am very excited to, hopefully, successfully pursue. There aren't very many things I dislike, but failure is one of them. Many athletes say they are driven to pursue and win at a specific sport, but the fact of the matter is few are willing to do what others won't in order to accomplish what others can't. My current goals are to continue working on jumping higher and hitting harder. I will also be working academically all year round up until the end of my senior year, once I commit to a college. I would love to go to college in a great atmosphere where I can find an equal balance between school and the court. I take all opportunities that I am given, academically and sports wise, and love to show my volleyball skills to the crowd and my team. I am open to many different types of school, but would prefer one with a decent engineering program that could take me somewhere in my later years. I would also love an environment where I could learn from other students/athletes and make an impact on my college life. I would love to look through all opportunities I am given even though higher ranked scholar schools are preferred.
