Kuroshe Mahak '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kuroshe Mahak and I am 6"1 and 176 lbs. I have been swimming for about 9 years and all of this time i have swam for my club team Pro Sports Club in Bellevue, WA. I have competed in a few hundred competitions and I love swimming. The pool is like my second home. I am always there to tell my team mates that they can do better, and I push them to their maximum effort just like our coach. I am always on the sidelines cheering and trying to get everyone faster! I have always dreamed about going to a division one school on a academic scholorship with swimming. I would love to be a college swimminer and one day make it to the Olympics! It's been my dream since i was a child! There are quite a bit of schools I would love to go to. I like all these schools for a few reasons, but most importantly is because of the education i will recieve at each and every one of them. I would love to go to a smaller school because then I have the oppurtunity to have one on one time with my proffesor and talk to them about any questions I may have. I am open to other sized schools, but I love smaller classrooms. I would prefer to go to a division 1 school because the standards of swimming are a lot faster, and that is the only way I can get better is if i train harder with demands to meet. I would love to major in Medicine, I have wanted to be a Neuro surgeon since i was 10 years old. I want to make nationals before senior year, and before im 20, I want to compete in worlds! It has been a dream of mine since i was very little and started swimming.
