Personal Statement

Watching my older brother win a soccer championship was one of the most inspirational moments of my life. It made me realize that that is what I want to be like when I am older. I saw the joy of winning. That day I knew that I wanted to play soccer and be just like my brother. My brother taught me how to play the game. He taught me almost everything I know about the game. I have learned from over the years of playing that I can't stand losing. Every time I lose I have to think "what did I do wrong that game and improve on?".  I want to graduate high school with honors and a good math background. In college I want to go into accounting because I excel at mathematics.

I used to play on a premier team for soccer when I was about 10 or 11. My coach barely ever played me. A kid on the team said I was bad and I am not good enough to be on that team. I got cut later that year and put on the B team. That made me strive to get better and stronger. If that never happened I don't think I would be where I am right now. I have become a very good leader ever since that day. I have always been very competitive ever since I started playing soccer. I have put in so much work to get myself where I am today, so I like to consider myself as a hard worker. My coach says hard work leads to championships and I think I know how to make it happen on your team!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
