My collegiate goals are to use lacrosse as a way to get a medical education while playing the sport I love. To accomplish this goal, I work hard each day on both my academics and my lacrosse game. I am currently in the 10th grade and this past spring, as a 9th grader, I was the only freshman on the Varsity high school team as a result of my work ethic and strong leadership skills. I have been told that I am very coachable, and take constructive criticism as a means to improve each aspect of my game. I love being in a competitive environment. Using my talents and skills to help our team be the best we can be win or lose. This is the same approach I take with academics. Currently, I have a 4.7 GPA, am in honors classes, and was selected to the National Honor Society. The demands from my academic workload and lacrosse, have taught me a great deal about hardwork and overcoming adversity. I beleive this is another reason why I was voted team captain. I push people on and off the field in order for them to do THEIR best, and push them to be better people. I am looking forward to growing as a student-athlete, and seeing where this game of lacrosse takes me!
