Personal Statement

When I was 7 years old I joined my first hockey team. Although I could barely skate I immediately found a love for the game. As I climbed my way up I learned the importance of a hardworking attitude, and to never give up. Eventually, I made the Oakland Jr Grizzlies AAA team. It was a life changing moment for me in which I learned dedication can take you anywhere. I took this into my school, it pushed me to excel greatly. I want to go to a college that has a good hockey program and an even better academic program. I hope you consider me a serious a prospect for your program.
