Personal Statement

In the summer of 2012, I decided to go play my first ever round of golf with my Dad at his annual tournament. I realized that I really enjoyed this game.  By the time fall came around, I had decided that I wanted to give golfing a go. So I made one of the hardest decisions of my life and chose golf over my favorite sport, baseball. I had also given up basketball to give golf my all. Since I have started playing, I don't think a week has gone by that I have not picked up a golf club. Golf has become my passion, and I want to see where it takes me.

Had some bad drives, but the rest of the game was good. Took 20th out of 36 (low 137 high 264, I shot 160). Felt good, just trying to adjust to new swing.
