Throwing a no-hitter in one of my middle school baseball games, and winning the school conference championship 2 years in-a-row in my 7th and 8th grade seasons were my biggest achievements. In addition I had 101 strikeouts in my 7th grade Club season.
In my last season of middle school I learned to be a leader on the team. If someone was feeling down about a bad at-bat or a bad game, I would be the one to cheer them up. I told them its all good and that they can get back out there the next time and redeem themselves.
This year, I start my first season of high school baseball and my goals will be higher:
Pitch for the Varsity Team
Be known as a Team Player
Help My Team to a Winning Season
I got into baseball because my family played. They encouraged me to a baseball player. When I was 2 years old, I started to play whiffle ball in the backyard.
My goals for high school academically is to maintain a 3.3 GPA and higher, go to a college, and play baseball.
