Youth- I started wrestling when I was seven and began wrestling competitively when I was eight. I qualified for the Wisconsin Youth State Tournament when I was in seventh grade. I returned to state my eighth grade year and placed third. All eight years that I wrestled for my youth team I won the team MVP award.
Freshman Year- My freshman year I wrestled at 132 pounds and had a 33-6 record. I won conference, regionals and placed second at sectionals which qualified me for the Wisconsin High School Individual State Tournament. At the end of the year banquet I received Team MVP.
Sophomore Year- My sophomore year I wrestled at 138 pounds and had a 43-3 record. I won conference, regionals, and sectionals which again qualified me for the Wisconsin Individual State Wrestling Tournament. I went into State ranked third. I was voted co-conference MVP and again won Team MVP at the end of the year banquet.
Junior Year- My junior year I wrestled 145 pounds and had a 40-6 record. I won conference, regionals, sectionals and qualified for the Wisconsin Individual State Wrestling Tournament. My team won conference and lost at regionals by just 9 points because we didn't have a 113 pound wrestler.
Freestyle and Greco- I started competing in freestyle and greco my freshman year. I was unable to compete at greco and freestyle state my freshman year due to an injury. My sophomore year I competed at freestyle state and placed 2nd. My junior year I took 3rd at freestyle state.
Academics- I am currently a high honors student with a 3.87 GPA and I am enrolled in multiple honors classes and just got accepted into my school's National Honor Society.
Goals- I am working hard to accomplish my goals of being a state champion in both freestyle and folkstyle and to place in both folkstyle nationals and freestyle nationals in Fargo.
