In order to be successful, you have to have goals in life. This can be in school, athletics, and life in general. As a student athlete, I know how important it is to balance your life. I have worked extremely hard to maintain my GPA. I can manage my personal life, academics, and athletics and still maintain good grades. I have what it takes to be successful in and out of school. I have developed a good rapport with my teachers to ensure my academic status. I have been an athlete my entire life and what drives me is my faith, strength, and desire to be the best I can be. I do not take anything for granted and I give everything I have to reach my goals. It was the summer going into my Junior year that I attended the University of Iowa intensive wrestling camp that changed my life. It was skills I acquired here that not only helped me in wrestling but in life as well. I came out with a realization that I can accomplish anything through hard work and dedication. I realized that I want to be successful in this sport and be one of the best and in order to accomplish that, I'm going to have to put in all the hard work, not take days off, and do thing that I don't want to do that will make me better if I do them anyway. I'm driven with a mind set that wont let anyone pass me up.
I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
