Veronika Webb '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Veronika Webb. I have been playing volleyball since I was in the 6^th grade and quickly developed a love for the sport. My 7^th and 8^th grade years I worked really hard on my skills and was placed on the top team both years. My freshman year at Summit High School I was selected to be on the Varsity team and have started every set through my Freshman, Sophomore and Junior years. My Sophomore and Junior years my High School team have advanced to UIL- Regional Semi-Finals and this past year we were 5A-14 District Champions.

The thing that makes me different from other recruits is that I am very coachable and have a strong determination to please the coach. I am a team player and I strongly believe in putting the team before myself. I have the ability to read the hitters and can move quickly to the block. I enjoy playing a fast offense and running slides and quicks are some of my best talents. I believe in being punctual, a hard worker and a leader. I strive to have all of those attributes on both my High School and Club teams. I also feel that being dependable and honest in both my studies and athletics are essential in my development to a young adult.

I am currently looking for a field of study that involves young children, such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, or education. Additionally, my goal would like to play as a Middle Blocker or Right Side Hitter on either a Division I or Division II School in Texas or any other state.
