Taylor Lampkin '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Taylor Lampkin. Welcome to my NCSA Recruiting page! Since I started playing volleyball in Junior high, my dream has always been to play college volleyball. I always looked up to the high school players and of course the college volleyball players. My goal as a player is always to do my 100% and to never stop fighting, whether in a game, in a practice, or in a tryout.  I hope to one day be a role model for other girls because of my love for volleyball and my attitude towards life. As well as doing my 100% in volleyball my goal is to do my best in school, despite the difficulties that academics bring. Volleyball is my passion. It has been for as long as I can remember. I have been playing club volleyball since sixth grade and still, love every minute of playing. I played club for Texas Image Volleyball Club (in Grand Prairie, Texas) and currently play for Club Legacy Volleyball Club (in Carrollton, Texas). I also play on my high school at MacArthur High School, where I will be graduating in 2016. In addition to my volleyball resume, I have also been coaching volleyball to younger girls at recreation centers for three years. As you can see, volleyball and receiving a great education is my whole life, and I want to play at the next level on a competitive team in college. While in college my goal is to receive a degree in Athletic Training & Sports Medicine and maintain a high GPA.I am looking for an institution where I can play sports and also get a superior education. My career goal is to become a coach to help kids build a love and respect for sports the way that I do.
