In college I hope to continue my career in volleyball as a playmaker, enthusiastic leader and team advocate. My collegiate goals are to excel and make a difference both on the court and in the classroom. Lessons learned on the court will help me to successfully implement my classroom education in my professional life. Qualities that make me a great candidate for your team are my coach-ability, work ethic, high volleyball IQ and my continued desire to improve. I pride myself on my positive attitude, quickly learning and mastering new skills, welcoming and immediately applying corrections and adjusting to unexpected situations. I enjoy the challenge of quickly reading and strategizing the opposing team and helping implement the attack. I feel that one of my most admirable qualities is being a positive, reliable team player on and off the court by encouraging respect for one another and developing supportive relationships with my teammates. Differentiating me academically from other recruits is that I have performed well while playing travel club volleyball and two varsity sports year round, volleyball and swimming, thus demonstrating my work hard, play hard ethic. Characteristically what sets me apart from other recruits both on and off the court is my steadfast positive attitude and refusal to give up faced with adversity. I have and will continue to strive for and attain my goals. An athlete has a unique opportunity to connect with, support and encourage those with health, physical and mental challenges. I would like to present the team with and implement such opportunities to serve.
