Personal Statement

Ever since I was little I knew that I was going to play college sports. Growing up I played basketball, but when I hit high school, I found volleyball and fell in love. Although I started playing in 2013, I went from JV my freshman year to a starter on Varsity sophomore year, and again starting this last highschool season as a Junior. I currently play on an 18 Club team at my club K2, where I am am developing exponentially, and am owning my craft. I have always been a fast learner and a very coachable player. As a teammate, I am always encouraging and maintain a positive outlook, regardless of the situation. My character and work ethic as a player, and as a person, have matured tremendously and continues to grow the longer I play volleyball. I have the inability to quit, have a positive attitude, and am always energetic and hustle at all times. As a student, I work hard and always try my hardest during every class and every assignment. My education is very important to me, and just like on the court I am a fast learner. Playing sports in college has always been a dream of mine, but I understand that education is the most important thing when it comes to a collegiate career. Even off the court and outside of school, I always try to lead as an example for those around me, whether its my siblings, teammates or my friends. These characteristics describe why I should be considered as a candidate to play on the collegiate level.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
