Caitlin Westerfer '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'6" senior setter from Oley Valley, Pennsylvania. I have 4 years of Club Volleyball experience. I was awarded the "Coach's Award" my Sophomore & Junior season's. I was captain of my team my senior year. I was also awarded the teams "MVP" award and "Setter" award my senior season. Also, I will be playing in the Berks County All-Star game and have received an "All-Division Honorable Mention". I have also played the position's of right side & outside hitter. I have great hand contact on the ball and deliver the ball effectively when distributing the ball to my teammates. I have a lot of heart and a passion for volleyball and competitive athletics. I am truly dedicated to the sport, my coach and my teammates. I am extremely trustworthy and a role model for my teammates. I always work hard to be an asset to my team. I have a strong work ethic and I am always willing to go that extra mile. I am open to explore opportunities in all Divisions. I am looking for a college that I can obtain my degree in the teaching field. Although I live in Pennsylvania, I am open to exploring schools in nearby surrounding states. When filling out the FAFSA this year, my family will qualify for grants and aide. I hope to be a part of a college volleyball team my freshman year. I know I will make a valuable contribution with my skills and leadership capabilities. The only scouting video that was able to be filmed was that of a summer league game. I realize that this does not showcase all of my setting capabilities. When my club season starts another video will be filmed and uploaded to show me running quicks in the middle,different sets to the outside and what I am capable of.
