Making varsity as a freshman was a milestone in my athletic career.  I proved to myself that determination and a passion for volleyball pay off.  Competing against older girls pushed me to constantly work harder and play to the best of my abilities. I have learned that focusing on my goals, staying positive, committing myself to my teammates, and building on my mistakes makes me a better athlete and person.  The amazing girls and coaches that I have had the privilege of playing with have each made an impression on me and have shaped me into the person that I am today.

School is very important to me, and my success in the classroom is a priority in my life.  I dream of attending a college that challenges me as a student and provides me the opportunity to compete as an athlete. I am confident that my work ethic and abilities on the court and in the classroom, will be an asset to your program.
