My name is Grace LaDelfa and I am a volleyball player! From Kindergarten through 8th Grade, I participated in many "A-Team" travel sports including lacrosse, soccer and basketball. Although I enjoyed and excelled at all of the sports I played, it wasn't until I played Volleyball for the first time at age 14, that I realized I found my true passion. As a freshman in High School, new to the sport, I was a JV starter who also received decent Varsity playing time. As a sophomore with my first club season and beach volleyball experience under my belt, I became a Varsity starter with strong contributions to my team and an award winner as the Most Improved Player. I was a Varsity starter as a junior and I led my team in kills, was second in digs and an award winner as MHS Offensive Player of the Year.
I am anxious to continue to grow and develop as a Varsity and Club player over the next year, then carry my athletic and academic skills and passion for the game to the collegiate level. While my academic interests will lead the way, my goal is to play volleyball for a college where I can contribute on the court, flourish as a scholar athlete and become a key member of the volleyball team and school community. I'm seeking the opportunity to play for a transformational coach who will utilize my strengths to the benefit of their team and facilitate my overall development as a player and human being. If you are looking for a smart, hard working, coachable athlete with a friendly demeanor, positive attitude and strong values and morals, please consider me as a recruit.
