ALLIE WRIGHT '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Allie Wright. I am a 5'9'' Opposite/Outside hitter from Henderson, NV. I am currently a senior at Green Valley High School and will be graduating in 2016.  This club season I will be playing with Exposure Las Vegas Volleyball.  This is a brand new club that my Mother and I started.  Me and 8 other seniors and juniors not only work hard on the courts to advance our skills we team up to make the college application process and the college recruiting process a fun learning experience.  I am working hard on my volleyball skills, academics and doing a lot of research to make the right college choice. 

I am coming off my club sand season where I played with Vegas Volleyball.  My last club court season I played with BBC Las Vegas on the 17/18's National Team. This will be my 7th year playing volleyball, which include 2 seasons of  recreation ball, 5 seasons of club ball and 2 summers of training and playing in local tournaments for sand volleyball. I have played Middle Blocker, Outside Hitter and Opposite. I have been working hard and I am determined to continue playing volleyball in college while pursuing my degree. I also give a full effort to my academics. I currently have a 3.5 GPA and I am on the track to graduate with an Advanced Honors Diploma. In addition I have been selected to participate in the highest level of High School Choirs including the Nevada High School Honor Choir. I also enjoy my time volunteering with the "Best Buddies" program.

I feel my strong social skills will make me stand out in your recruiting decisions. I am very confident, open minded, and have excellent communication skills. These attributes will not only help me with the coaches and staff but the team and other students. I will continue to work hard and take advantage of every minute I have on the court, in the gym and in the classroom to help make make me an easy decision for your collegiate volleyball program. I will be adding film throughout this club season. I am very excited to share my progression.
