Emma Thomssen '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emma Thomssen and I have big dreams of playing volleyball at “the next level”. For the last several years, I have dedicated myself in the pursuit of my volleyball career. My ultimate goal is to play college volleyball.

 I am a student-athlete. For me, academics come first. I have pushed myself both on the court and in the classroom to be the best I can be. My goal is to find a college that will push me academically and athletically. When I was younger, I realized that I had to work for what I wanted. My achievements were not going to be handed to me. That still applies to this day. I put in the effort to come in for extra help in school and in the gym. Each day I prove to myself and others that I am hardworking and committed. I take corrections well and never disagree. I appreciate all feedback about my work.

Throughout my life, I have made the right choices. Those positive decisions have laid the foundation for my future. I believe I am on the right track to success.
