2013 Highlights Personal Statement
I started playing volleyball in 6th grade and have enjoyed playing JO's and school ball every season since then. I would love to continue my volleyball career into college. I see myself as a strong leader on the team and a positive influence. As the setter of the team, I understand the game, the strategies, and know the strengths of my teammates. I like to run a quick offense and read the defense to put my hitters in a high percentage situation for their attacks.
Strong academics are my top focus. My ideal college would be a small D1, D2, or even competitive D3 school between 1,500 - 7,500 students. I currently live in Minnesota, but also spent formative years of my childhood in Mississippi and North Carolina. I am open to looking at schools in any part of the country.
