Dear Recruiters,
My name is Ryanne Purcell. I am in my year senior year this fall of 2013. I have played volleyball since I can remember and I aspire to play competitively through-out college. I am 5'10 & weigh 160 pounds. I am a highly competitive, hard working, athletic team player. I am dedicated to improving my game every day. For me, volleyball isn't just a game. It is a lifestyle. I've learned so many things from volleyball, not just volleyball itself, but my character. A key to my character is the word team. A team isn't just a random collaboration of people. It is a group of players that has acquired a strong sense of trust and belonging amongst each other. With a strong built team you can attain victory. I have played on our varsity team since I have been in the eighth grade. I participated in club volleyball as well. I was an OH for Apollo High School in 2011-2012. In the end we were Regional Champs in 2011 and Regional Runners-Up in 2012. We barely lost the opportunity to go to state in our last game, fighting till the end. Over the summer I stay very fit. I run, and practice often for club. I attend volleyball camps as opportunities are given. I have dreamed about playing volleyball in college ever since I picked up the first ball, back when my mom was a coach when I was about six years old. I will be extremely excited if I am offered the opportunity. I am open to any level of school. I am interested in any region of the US, as long as we can get my parents to some games. Preferably, I would love a bigger school, but I'm very flexible. I love interacting with new people and will do well in a small school just as well as in a large school. Some other things I am interested in besides volleyball are art, reading, and singing. I wish to pursue Forensic Anthropology as my major. If I don't end up majoring in this, it will be something .
Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile!
Ryanne Purcell!
