Lexi Kuharich '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'8 senior from Leawood,KS. I am the Varsity setter and co-captain for Blue Valley High School . We completed our 2012 season with a record of 30-12. We ended up as the 6A runnerup in the state of Kansas. I was elected Honorable Mention All EKL in 2012. Last season, we lost to Bishop Miege in the 5A sub state championship game. I have 4 years of club experience with Team KC Club, Southwind Club, and Mizuno Blazers. I also have played outside hitter. I finished playing my second year with Team KC in May. In 2011, I was # 1 in the EKL in assists and # 3 in the state of Kansas.

My desire is to play volleyball in college at any division. My current career interest is education.
I am open to going to college in any location at this time. I do have family on the East coast but I will
explore all collegiate opportunities.   
     

Selected Player of the Year 2012 by Coach Dave Johnson Blue Valley High School Player of the Year #2 Lexi Kuharich #2 , S, RS | Player of the Year I have chosen Lexi because of her leadership. Her ability to get the ball to her hitters and put it in their wheelhouse was spectacular. Lexi knew how to set each player and when to set them. We had three hitters get all state that says volumes about her setting and her precision. Lexi's defense was fantastic, her aggressiveness in the back court was clutch.
