I have been playing volleyball competitively since 5th grade. Though I played other sports, volleyball was always my passion, and became my sole focus. I am very competitive, but my main competitor is myself. I always strive to jump higher, move faster and play smarter. I believe a good attitude is contagious and as a team leader, encouragement is sometimes the key to momentum in a game. No matter how much success a player has, there is always more to learn and I am an eager student.
My strong work ethic extends to my studies. I know that a strong and healthy mind is as important as a strong, healthy body. Whether I am studying, playing volleyball, or just hanging out with my family and friends, I know my strength comes from God and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference on and off the court.
Choosing the right college is an important life decision. I want to attend a college/university that offers a high level of academic education, a strong volleyball program, and is a place my faith in God can grow. I believe we all have God-given potential and I am excited to find a place where I can continue working toward reaching mine.
