I’m Morgan Lauvray, Class of 2017. I started playing volleyball at 8 years old. Over the years, my skills and volleyball IQ have grown. I’ve spent hours in the gym working on technique, focusing on conditioning, and building lasting friendships. Volleyball has helped me grow as an athlete and person. Playing at the collegiate level has become a goal of mine. On the court I am a team leader and try to motivate my teammates to success. I am coachable and strive to be the hardest working player for any team I am part of.
When I am off the court, I’m in the classroom studying hard to maintain a high GPA. For the past three summers, I have volunteered at my high school’s youth volleyball camp along with assisting the coaches in the freshman, Junior Varsity, and Boys programs.
I want to attend a college where I am challenged both on the court and in the classroom. I am open to all options and want to find the college that is a perfect fit educationally and provides a high level of competition. I hope to become a great role model to all peers and make my former coaches and parents proud.
