Casey Lunceford '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Casey Lunceford. I am currently a senior at La Habra High School, class of 2016.  I've play Varsity volleyball for 3 years in addition to playing with So Cal Jrs Volleyball Club.  I started playing organized sports at 4 1/2 years old.  I have been playing volleyball for the past 5 years and I love it! 

My freshman year I played on the JV volleyball team and made the JV swim team while playing on the 15-N team at SoCal Juniors and maintained a 4.5 GPA in the  honors/AP program at my school. I was also number 19 out of my class of almost 600, and received an award for being in the Top 25 GPAs in my freshman year.

My sophomore year I played Varsity volleyball for my high school and played for SoCal Juniors 16-Elite while competing in my high school High Jump event for our track team.  I maintained a 4.2 GPA and was number 21 in my class.  

My junior year I played Varsity volleyball and made 1st Team All League.  Maintained a 4.16 GPA and am currently ranked number 25 in my class of almost 500 students.

This year I ran a 6-1 on the Varsity volleyball team and made 1st Team All League, won MVP at my high school and was honored with Female Athlete of the Year by the Rotary Club. I remain in the top 25 of my class. 

Everything I do, from school, sports, projects and my physical fitness I give 110% effort. If I fall short, I push harder to succeed. I am self driven, motivated and thrive on disciplined coaching and teaching.  While I am a team player I am a leader as well, on the court and with my fellow students. I am a focused individual in every aspect of my life. I strive to make everything in my life the best it can be, knowing, nothing's perfect.
