I have been on the varsity team at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy since freshman year. Our team was bumped to Division 1AA this year and we made a very good showing. I was ranked #2 for both hitting percentage and kills in my Mission League. We won the Infinity SoCal Invitational, placed 8th in the prestigious Durango Fall Classic and placed 2nd in our league. I received League Honorable Mention, Second Team and Honorable Mention in two of our local areas as well as a spot on our West San Gabriel All Star Team.
My height is an advantage, but I don’t take that for granted. I have never made a bigger physical and mental commitment to anything than I have to my sport. I work very hard, stay focused, respect my coaches, and my teammates and they know that I am there to support them. My goals are to continue to improve my hitting accuracy, to make my blocks tougher to penetrate and to continue to improve my back row defense. Playing volleyball is not an option!
Besides homework, life away from volleyball includes hikes, snow skiing and hanging out with friends and family.
