Christal Wong '17 Recruiting Profile

I fell in love with the sport of volleyball 6 years ago, and my passion for it has only grown more. I aspire to play collegiate volleyball.

I am in the class of 2017 and was on the Consumes Oaks High School varsity volleyball since sophomore year. I was originally a right side because I am left handed, but filled the role of setter because our actual setter was injured, and eventually earned my spot as the libero on my team junior and senior year. I am a very flexible and well rounded player, so I am capable and skilled in defense and as well as offense. 

I am very competitive on and off the court. I believe in a balance of academic and athletics, because my education is important to me and I always work hard in volleyball because I am always looking for ways to improve.

I am very hard on myself, because I have high expectations and I want more. 

My hard work, grit, and perseverance have got me to where I am today. I pride myself in always improving and seeing my growth. I am determined to take it one step further,  so I hope you will see my potential and help me fulfill my dream while pursuing a business major.
