Just ran our District meet 5-5A. 3200 ran 10:46.43 and 1600 ran 5:01.91. Both were new PR's. Have area meet this week and then hopefully on to Regions in Lubbock.
Just started my Junior CCountry season, was elected Captain, excited for what's coming up this year. I have been running competitively since I was 11. I ran in those younger years for Lake Cities Cross Country, coached by Brad Lutz. We ran all over the Country in AAU and USATF events. From great weather in Orlando to sub freezing temps at National meet in Kansas. I learned at a young age to compete no matter the conditions. I now am lucky enough to have Steve Telaneus as my High School Coach, who has enjoyed great success at Marcus in Flower Mound. I enjoy running and enjoy my teammates. I want to compete on the college level for sure, and want to be succesful academically. My mom ran Cross Country and Track at TCU in Ft. Worth and my Dad is an Athletic Trainer for the Dallas Cowboys, so I understand Athletics. Have a older brother that graduated in May of 2012 and attends OU. He was the number 1 runnner at Marcus his senior year. I also have a younger sister that we will be a freshman at Marcus this year and she will be running with me which will be fun. Please contact me or my Parents with any questions. Thanks!
