I started running cross country when I was five years old and continued on until eighth grade. I also enjoyed and participated in other sports such as competitive cheerleading, gymnastics and alpine ski racing. I have had a lot of different experience in athletics, but one of my proudest moments was participating at Nationals for club track 3 years in a row; once in the 200 hurdles and twice in the 400 hurdles. I made it to state for 300 hurdles my sophomore year and finished 8th place overall in 5A. My goals for track are to be a state champion and record holder as well as a national champion and Nike All American.
My future career plans and aspirations for college is to obtain a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Science and go into the dental field to become an orthodontist. Academically, I was in the National Junior Honor Society all throughout middle school. I did the International Baccalaureate program my whole life all the way until my junior year. I made my personal project all about track and hurdles. I completed more than 50 hours of community and service. I will be receiving my I.B. Diploma and my completion certificate for completing the program. I also received the Academic of Excellence Award for achieving and keeping my GPA at a 3.5 or higher.
