My name is Tia Parrish. I am 18 years old and a transfer sophomore at Riverside City College. I practically eat, sleep, and breathe track and field. It's been my passion since I was 4 years old. Over my 15 years of competing, I've learned to exercise discipline and intestinal fortitude. I'm very open to constructive criticism and I'm willing to listen to any information that will help me to better my track and field career. What sets me apart from the crowd is my willingness to take one for the team and for my coaches. Whenever my team is in a pinch, I'm willing to step up and do what I can to help my team take home the gold. I had a rocky start my first year of college, with a pretty bad experience attending a D1 university. I'm back now in California starting with a fresh slate and plan to hone my skills on the track and in the classroom.
