Sadie Caldwell '12 Recruiting Profile

Im about 5'10 160lbs and fairly fast :) my most important accomplishment for me would be...not throwing up in practice each day (haha) actually it would be just overcoming the daily hardships that go along with being part of a top competition swim team and going through the practices and training to the best of my ability. I've been swimming for about as long as i can remember, maybe 6 or 7 years old. I try to train and swim year round with a club team during the high school off season. i believe i can offer a team alot of hard work and support to teammates, I try to just do what needs to be done during practice and help others during practice if they are struggling. I would absolutely love to go to a college by the ocean or somewhere warm like cali or Florida :) I want a huge school with lots of diverse people and opportunities, other then that Im pretty open to just what ever! :) I will most likely need lots of scholarships, my family isnt the most gifted financially...but we make ends meet and live pretty comfortably. i would absolutely love a swimming scholarship, that to me is my most important swimming goal right now, but i realize that may not be realistic to me so i wont be completely crushed if i dont get one, i really just want to be able to swim competitively in college :)...any others scholarships would be nice to :) I plan on going to school to become a cop and possibly a EMT. I want to do something exciting and different everyday that has an impact on peoples lives! my athletic goals would probably be to tone up more and gain speed and strength. my senior year i plan on training to take a school record! i would love to help inspire people to be a better athlete and to over come any athletic challenge they dont think they can do :)
