My main goal as a collegiate swimmer is to take swimming as far as I possibly can. I want to be able to push my body and mind to limits I never thought were achievable. Throughout my college swimming program I want to be able to set very high goals for myself, but also keep them realistic. I consider myself to be a positive, hardworking, and motivated athlete, which is why I think I would be a good asset for a college swim team. I perceive myself to be a well-rounded and strong swimmer, and I also have many interests outside of the pool. Academics are just as important to me as athletics; therefore, I have taught myself to work hard in and out of the pool. I have learned throughout the years that every day is a new opportunity to make myself better. I am committed to my goals in both swimming and academics. I am genuine and honest with both myself and my work ethic. I try to never cheat myself out of how hard I should be working. Because of this it has taught me that hard work never fails.
