My name is Elizabeth Cappiello and I have been swimming since the age of eleven and competitively swimming for the past five years. I have always been able to balance swimming and school maintaining a 3.2 GPA. I enjoy training and swimming year round both for the USA program and my high school. The past two summers I have participated in the Swim Across the Sound, a sixteen mile swim which helps raise money for cancer patients at St. Vincents Hospital in Bridgeport,CT. My high school team has been in the State tournament the past three years and I was recently honored when I was named captain for this upcoming year. My goal is to continue swimming at the college level and earn my degree in nursing.
