Hello my name is Alexa Melara, I am from Rialto California. I have dedicated myself to my education and athletics throughout these past years.
I attended a private school from preschool through eighth grade. I am now a senior at Redlands East Valley. I am currently in a club called "Link Crew", which helps incoming freshmen situate themselves in their first year of high school. I maintain a 3.2 and above G.P.A. I am leaning on majoring in kinesiology. I do my best in balancing my academics and swim to keep my grades up and my times down.
I have been swimming for 13 years, and I have enjoyed every moment from when I first started at the age of five. I am very committed and will work hard no matter what. I work well with others and enjoy meeting new people. I always strive to be the best I can possibly be and will not quit until I reach my goals. I have a passion for swim that can only get stronger.
My family holds a huge place in my heart. I live with my parents, my two sisters and my three dogs. I am very close to my uncle and my aunt and I appreciate everything that they have done for me. I love making my family proud in everything I do, through academics as well as swim.
