2016 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I have been playing soccer for 13 years, since I was about 4 years old. At first it was just a hobby my parents put me in to keep me active, but I can honestly say that I have fallen in love with it. I tried out for my high school soccer team and so far I have been on Varsity my freshman and sophomore years as a starter. I hope to continue this pattern for my next two years in high school. I look up to Lionel Messi, the quickness in his steps and the way he distributes the ball. I am a small girl, but I am going to work on my strength. Even though I may be small, I play big and I don't let people push me around. On the field, it's not about size, it's about who puts their heart and effort into the game and who wants the ball the most. Also, I play quick to make up for my size. Apart from soccer, I am usually a straight A student with perfect attendance. I hate missing a day of school. I hope to maintain my high GPA throughout high school.
