Kimberly Pitts '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been in love with the game of soccer for at least 9 years now. Ever since then, I began competing, visualizing, learning more about, and continually improving to advance to the next level. I take priority in developing both the technical, as well as tactical side of my game. While my opponents are asleep, you can find me from 5:00a.m. to 7:00a.m. in my backyard striving to improve every aspect of my game. As a soccer player, I play the outside back position, however,  that is only where I start. I am a fast versatile player who will play every position to help my team win and continue to improve. If I see an opportunity to support my team in the attack, I will take it and connect with my teammates by making overlapping runs, give and goes, and combination plays. When I am playing, I always remind myself, "Don't just get to the finish line. Run through the finish line." Whether it is athletics or academics, I am a competitor. I strive and am determined to win and be the best in the classroom, on the practice field, before/after school, on game day, on test day. If there is any area I feel I can do better at you will notice me seeking you out asking question and for advice to do anything I can to better myself as an individual, as a soccer player, and as a student. The biggest and only catalyst you will notice that drives everything I do on the field, in the classroom, and with everyone I surround myself with is that I am a Christian. For me, it all goes back to Him.
