Abigail Walters '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Abigail S. Walters, I go by “Abby”. I am a senior at The AP Capstone Academy at Western Guilford High School in Greensboro, NC. Currently my weighted GPA is 5.09, and use photography as a creative outlet. I intend to focus my collegiate studies in the Biology and Psychology fields.

When I was little, my parents took me to try the usual “little girl” activities like dance and cheerleading. None of those seem to interest me. One day my mom brought home a soccer flyer and asked if I wanted to try it. I said “sure” and the rest as they say is history. I found the sport that I truly love, have focused on and been playing ever since. For me, there is no “off” season. I play club, winter indoor and HS varsity through fall, winter and spring. I dearly love the comradery, the competitiveness, and the beauty of the game.
