One thing to know about me; I live for soccer. I have been playing since I was five years old and have LOVED every minute of it. I have tried many other sports over the years; Basketball, Volleyball, H.S. Varsity Flag Football and even a little bit of Track and Field, but nothing compares to my love and passion for SOCCER! I have always dreamed about being a collegiate soccer player, and have a strong desire to play and be apart of a soccer program that will help me become not only a better player, but also a better person as a whole.
A little bit about me as a soccer player; outside of playing goalie I have played every position at some point or another in my soccer career and feel very comfortable in which ever position I am asked to play. I would have to say that my strength comes in the midfield, with either playing center mid, and/or left or right mid. I have been told I have "outstanding placement of the ball", and a great read of the ball and game as a whole. Although I am not an outstanding scorer, I do have the power to and do score, but my strength does come in assists, and ball placement. I have led most, if not all, of my teams in assists. In addition, I was the only freshman to make my High School Varsity soccer team. I also received my white letter for being the only four-year Varsity player for the 2013 season.
Myself as a student; I currently carry a 4.058 GPA, while taking all Honors and AP classes. I have been awarded the Scholar Athlete award for all four years of high school. I am also an active member of the National Honor Society, and do volunteering, and community service when ever possible. I will be graduating with my Advanced Honors Diploma in June ’13.
My goal is and has always been to work as hard as I possibly can, and do whatever it takes to make my dreams come true. Over the years, soccer has given me the tools I need to be successful. I hope that I will reach my goal of being a collegiate soccer player, so that I may continue my learning experience from the “beautiful game”. While in college, I want to study pre-med to prepare for a career in Anesthesiology.
Commited to Colorado Christian University on April 4, 2013.
