I am a left-footed central attacking midfielder who has also played some center forward and holding mid. I love to play soccer. I love the challenge and the battle. I am a warrior. I like to win, and I don’t care who gets the glory. My strengths are my intelligence, vision, touch and leadership. I love to dribble at defenders and finish, but I am just as happy to distribute the ball and create scoring opportunities for my teammates. My favorite thing in all of soccer is a perfect through ball that springs a forward for a chance on goal. My role models are Xavi and Mezut Ozil. I like to watch videos of them on YouTube for inspiration.
As the daughter of a high school soccer coach, I consider myself a student of the game. In the off-season, I coach a junior high team with my dad. I have already earned my Illinois high school coaching certification through the NFHS and have taken extra online courses, including a course on leadership for team captains. I strive to be a supportive and unselfish teammate. I am a hard worker. I try to be a positive example for my teammates on and off the field. I like to think of myself as the kind of player who makes her teammates better.
I have not decided on a major yet, but I’m thinking of becoming a doctor. I am looking for a college that will challenge me intellectually and personally.
