As a young soccer player the thrill of winning the championship games against competitive teams in tournaments has allowed me to know that I can not give up the feeling of gratification I get after those big wins. The satisfaction of getting a win after all the hard work put in is a great reminder of why I still have the drive and competitiveness to stick with what I love. On and off the field, soccer has allowed me to make many great connections with new people, and taught me many life lessons I understood better on the field. I’ve learned the value of friendship, hard work, sacrifice, and commitment through all the years striving to get better. The skills I’ve learned have developed me into a great center back, an important leader on the field, and capable of making an immediate impact on your team.
I am looking for a soccer program that will fit for me athletically, as well as academically. I value the academic part of being a student-athlete as much as the athletic part. Being a volunteer for my church and participating in schools clubs also has taught me to be responsible and set priorities in where I can improve myself. As a multi-sport athlete and an experienced captain, I know I have what it takes to be a leader on your team.
