Natalia Rodriguez '13 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Natalia Rodriguez, as a Junior in High School I am 16 years old, weigh 140lbs, and my height is 5'6. My mentality is winning, of course you may lose some games but, my priority is to win thats what I  always strive to do. I started playing soccer when I was in 3rd grade, before that I didn't even know this sport existed. Once, I began playing i fell in love with the sport and since then I set a goal to my self saying "I will try my hardest to play at the College level no matter what I have to do." Since, then I've been working hard and training everyday including my normal club and high school practices but, I also do extra training with my personal trainer Nelson Vargas. Leadership is one of my greatest aspects. When I was captain for my club team I felt so honored and good about my self because, all the work I do on and off the field payed off. That moment when my Coach and Teammates chose me to become Captain of the team I felt so good knowing that I wasn't the only one who thought I deserved the role on the team to be Captain. Knowing that my teammates and coach trusted me and knew that I can be the one to put the team on my back and never let them down was an amazing feeling. I am a hard worker and I never give up. I'm the type of player that keeps playing until that final whistle is blown.
