I've realized that as a senior, playing soccer beyond high school would be the experience of a lifetime. My passion for this sport has only grown over the duration of my 8 years of playing and is continuing to grow every time I step foot onto the field. I would love to be given the chance to further my opportunity to play this sport at the collegiate level, giving it everything I have to put myself out there as a possible recruit to proudly represent a college that may have interest in my potential. Of course though, education is just as an important factor, if not more, to athletics when involving college. My academic aspiration is to major in Psychology, specifically Sports Psychology and be able to apply my love for sports along with helping people. Both academics and athletics have to have a balance and with that a tremendous amount of self motivation and dedication. I consider myself level headed with a strong mind set to achieve goals I challenge myself with, in any situation that presents itself upon me. These are qualities that I believe are important on and off the field. How you portray yourself, on a team and in the classroom, not only represents yourself, but everyone involved. I strongly agree that no matter what amount of conflict that can occur when in competition with another team, good sportsmanship should always apply regardless. I know that being competitive doesn't mean a fair and clean game can't be played. I am a team player and support my teammates, reminding us of the game as a whole until that last whistle is blown. At the end of the day, my love for the sport never dies and has forever made its impact on who I've become.
