Hi, my name is Katelyn Daly, and I am currently a senior at Northgate High School in Walnut Creek, California, I graduate in spring of 2014. This 2014 season is my seventh year playing lacrosse. In my high school career I have improved so much, I have Defense MVP, athletic scholar, and captain. I have always had a strong passion for lacrosse, ever since my first game seven years ago, I still haven’t lost one ounce of passion for the game. Lacrosse is a game to most, but to me is a way of life; it has become part of my soul, the game gave my life meaning. There was a spark within me that motivates me when others will rest, it makes me push harder, work harder, and not give up. I know how to communicate with the girls on defense (calling who has ball, who is help, ball down); with my six year playing background I have played every single position and have a working knowledge of each and every position. When I am not playing lacrosse I am the “Team Manager” for Northgate’s Junior Varsity team, I help them to have success, to get motivated, and to help them to get to the Varsity level. In Summer of 2013 I am planning on lifting and coaching. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to know more.
